The Life Center Celebrates 15 Years of Serving the Siouxland Community
You’re Invited! Celebrate 15 Years of The Life Center’s Impact with the rapidly growing Heartland Counseling Services
South Sioux City, NE — Heartland Counseling Services is proud to celebrate the 15th anniversary of The Life Center, a licensed day rehabilitation program dedicated to supporting individuals living with chronic and persistent mental illness.
For the past 15 years, The Life Center has provided a safe, welcoming environment where members can build social skills, learn coping strategies, and grow toward greater independence. Through a combination of group therapy, life-skills training, and community engagement, the program has made a lasting impact on hundreds of individuals throughout the Siouxland region.
To mark this milestone, Heartland Counseling Services will host an Open House and Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony at The Life Center on October 9 from 4:30 - 6:00, in partnership with the South Sioux City Chamber of Commerce. Guests are invited to celebrate with staff and enjoy light refreshments.
“The Life Center has truly been a place of hope and connection for so many,” said Jennifer Jackson, Executive Director of Heartland Counseling Services. “For 15 years, we’ve watched people rediscover purpose, friendship, and healing — and that’s something worth celebrating.”
As Heartland Counseling looks ahead, The Life Center remains committed to fostering growth, dignity, and wellness for every member who walks through its doors.
