A Journey Through Parkinson's
Join Iowa State Human Science Extension and Outreach Field Specialists as we learn about Parkinson’s Disease beginning with the symptoms and causes and exploring medical treatment options, alternative treatments, and at-home activities and tools. One point five million Americans and ten million people worldwide live with Parkinson’s Disease. The greatest risk factor for Parkinson’s Disease is getting older. With an aging population, many Iowans will have family and friends dealing with Parkinson’s Disease. This class will be meet over a three-week period with plenty of time to ask questions and learn how you can help.
