Governed by a local board of directors\, Sunrise has been serving seniors from Sioux City and the surrounding area since 1961. Over the years\, services and living options have expanded to provide a full care continuum including\, independent living\, affordable housing for seniors\, Medicare skilled/rehab services\, long-term nursing care\, nursing memory care\, assisted living and assisted living memory care. Their mission statement is "Sunrise enhances the lives of seniors by providing comprehensive care and a high quality of life with excellence\, compassion\, and integrity."
